Can you walk with a broken big toe?

I need to know this cause a picture frame just dropped on my little bros big toe (due to his wild behavior nonetheless) and it started gushing out blood and i need to know cause i have no car, yet im 18 and i need to know in case i need to take my bro to the doctor/hospital for a cast
