What does he think of me as?

I became friends with a guy a couple months ago and never initiated anything cause he broke up with his gf of 3 years last summer (she dumped him) and he kind of went on a wild single streak. Knowing that commitment wasn't his thing, and not wanting to be just a random hook up, I ended up becoming pretty good friends with him over the last few months. We do a lot together, from studying and grabbing lunch/coffee during the school year to going out on weekends/summer nights. The thing is I've still liked him this whole time, and lately whenever we get drunk together he's always all over me. We've made out twice, the second time I was blacked out and told him I liked him and he just told me he's not good for me, or he's not a good guy. And he's talking to some other girl supposedly. So what am I to him? Just a friend to flirt/make out with only when drunk? We have a lot in common and I wish we could date but I know he's not gonna do anything of the sort anytime soon...I just want some kind of confirmation that he does like me to some degree and I'm not just an impaired judgment on drunken nights. Even after all this we still hang out. So...guys especially....any thoughts?
