I'm so confused and hurt. We were together for 1 1/2 years. This week he went out and my phone died and I ended up in the hospital for a few days and couldn't get a hold of him and when I finally did he said he wasn't even worried about me. K-I know I'm going to sound really stupid and pathetic, but whatever because I don't know you people. So let me start this off by saying that I am 20 years old and have watched my mom go from a loving caring mom, to turning the family into a mad house where everyone is afraid to stand up to her and she picks favorites with my sisters. She has a mental condition that she had been prescribed medicine for, but refuses to take her medicine and denies having any problem at all. My grandmother says that it has gone down hill since I was born. She used to leave me alone as a small baby to go on long walks...and it has gone from there....For 4 years now my mother has berated me and belittled me and has said I was a loser who can never make the right choices in life. She has forcibly removed me from relationships when I was dating people in high school and isolated me in my room until I gave up on the idea of being with them. My fiance is the only one who stood up to her and refused to back away and stop dating me just because she said to (just as a side note). In the August of last year (2010), just before I went off to college and unable to take it any longer, I left the house and moved in with her parents, which were more like my mom and dad than my parents were. Naturally, she hates my fiance, who has kept me afloat as I was diagnosed with depression two years ago and received help for it thanks to his nudging reassurance. His only flaw is that he enjoys to drink every now and then (as in once a month) with our friends and he dips. She calls him an alcoholic and a lazy loser for not wanting to have a job while he is attending an auto diesel school to be an auto-mechanic. Which, because of the hands on work that i have witnessed first hand, is like an unpaid job in itself. He only wants to keep me safe and take care of me, but because he is not the one she wants for me she has said horrible things to his face and has spread nasty rumors about us behind our backs to the family. As far as my work ethic in school, I made A's and B's in High School with the exception of two C's and got a 3.85 GPA. My Freshmen year of college I made two C's and got a 3.00 GPA for the year. She has criticized me for switching my major 3 times (two this past college year and once for this upcoming year) and says I am never going to get a degree because I am not dedicated enough to one thing to learn enough to get a good job. I have worked and saved money and got my own car, a used toyota camry which is perfect for me. I am continuing to work and go to school and save for when my fiance and I are going to move in together next spring. Until then, I am staying with my grandparents, who because of the rumors my mom has made don't like the idea of me getting married to him. He doesn't feel like he owes them any explanation as to the way he actually is and feels like once we are married, and he has a job to support me and him that they will see that he is actually worth something. However, the only problem is that none of my family wants to come to the wedding and that upsets me. I have literally stepped back and analyzed why I was with him and looked at his flaws and strengths and made sure I wasn't one of those people who are blind to their partner's bad qualities until they are no longer with them and have had the chance to sober up. How do I cope with the loss of an animal?

I know it may sound stupid, but I had two baby squirrels for a couple of days after they fell out of a tree and I was feeding it every two hours and I became very attached to them both. My mom wasn't too happy with the idea of me being around an animal that can have many diseases, but she put up with it for a little while. Well my dog ended up getting a hold of one of them and it ended up dieing and as for the other one my mom decided to set it outside for that fact that it can be dangerous and very hard to take care of a wild animal, especially since neither one of has the time. But before that I had called many places and none of them would take it in to take care of it. Well, I finally found someone that would take it in but I got their voice mail so that's when she put it outside. Four hours later they called me back and were going to pick him up so I went outside looking for him thinking maybe he would still be alive and the ants had gotten to him. Now I just feel awful because I became so attached to both of them and was really determined to save their lives. I now feel like there was absolutely no point in taking them in in the first place. There was no point to it at all. I should have either left them their and hoped for the best(like the mother coming back) or I should have stood up for the squirrels and decided to keep them until I got a hold of someone that could take them. Now I have awful images of these two dead squirrels in my head that I could and should have saved. I just need advice on how to cope with this.

I ADOPTED 2 kittens from the animal shelter 5 days ago.?

Guess-ti-ment .. $100 to $ 150. You can buy new cylinders on e-bay, either assembled with new keys or un-assembled in pieces with no key. If you want a new key for just the ignition, then get an assembled one. If you want to continue to use your existing ignition key, buy the one in pieces. Then take the cylinder in pieces & your best ignition key to a local locksmith, & he will assemble the cylinder around your key. Now either way, you have an assembled cylinder with working key. The directions on removing the old cylinder are usually with the new cylinder, & involve drilling a small hole into the face of the old cylinder to break a snap ring that is holding the cylinder into the steering column. Remove the bad cylinder & snap-in the new one. On the newer cars with the chip in the key - Do the same, because the sensor that reads the key is not part of the cylinder itself, but in a ring around the cylinder.

Simple Summer Hairstyles with no heat required?

I have medium length, about 4-6 inches past my shoulders, and i have a TON of hair. The type is hard to explain. Sometimes it is more crazy than others but most of the time it is a mixture of straighter toward my scalp and more wavyish/curly the farther down you get. It is really difficult for me to do anything but straighten it because my hair is really wild and the natural hair is not so good looking. Honestly only charge I would of understood was open container but they never tested me for alcohol so how am I intoxicated? I also NEVER got an official ticket from them even when my bond was paid and I got home at 7 am.. Strange button on my gear shifter?

My car is a 1998 Cadillac Catera. On the top of the gear shifter, which is located on the center console (by my right knee when I sit in the driver's seat), there is a circular button with an uppercase S on it. When I press it a warning light in the shape of a gear appears on my dashboard. My father originally thought it was a down shifting button,as that is the effect it seems to have when presses while the car is in motion, but I'm not completely sure. My 93 mazda protege failed emissions due to oxides of nitrogen(NOX), how do i fix this?

It could be the catalytic converter but the place to start is the EGR valve and passages. Exhaust Gas Recirculation is how the engine cuts down on NOx production, while the catalytic converter works to break the NOx down. The usual problem is that the EGR valve and passages become choked with carbon. I'm not familiar with how to clean the passages in your Mazda but any experienced mechanic should be able to do it affordably.

My car was towed(another entry reporting condo management company for illegal tow) I inherited the car when my father recently passed away. My inheritence is a Trust The car cannot be titled to a trust so it was titled in the family name for example The Smith Group. The other night I dreamt I wanted to kill myself. Oddly, it was a reoccurring dream at first. This dream in a nutshell usually involves me fighting with my older sister, often violently, and usually she is berating me, making me feel awful and miserable. I have these dreams often enough and they are emotionally draining, and I wake up in a terrible mood. (We are really close in reality) During the dream I became overwhelmed with her and resolved to kill myself, and she was callous about it when I told her. They are inconsistent when it comes to doing walk-thrus in classrooms to monitor instruction. For the past month and a half, between the both of them, only one walk-thru was conducted. I have been in my current relationship for a little over five years. My girlfriend is almost thirty while I'm twenty three. We see things differently; some times for the good, most times for the bad. I started dating her straight out of high school (I actually met her at my a high school graduation party) and I admit being in a relationship with some one older took some getting used to. There were a lot of people who said it would never work and that we'd be over in a couple of months. Well, five years later, I'm at a cross roads. I've been thinking of proposing fro about two years now, and every time I work up the nerve something stops me. Its either we hit a sour patch in our relationship, or its money, or its just something stupid. Like I stated before, I'm younger than my girlfriend and she has already found her station in life,and has a job she loves, while I'm still working at a dead end retail (Mc)job slaving away just to make enough money to pay my bills. While I am currently searching for more, and even considering going to school, I feel as though she's rushing me to be in the same level she is. I don't think it even phases her that no more than a year ago she was just like me, working a crap job and making no money. She has had time to grow and live her life (and yes she was my first and only, but I was not hers) and most times I hate her for it. I feel like I never got the chance to be free and make stupid mistakes that most guys my age have made, and used those mistakes to grow into a better man. She berates me about how much she does in comparison to me, and how much I need to improve, acting much like a mother instead of a mate. Meanwhile, I'm doing all the house work, yard work, and keeping my own job. I know I'm not a martyr, and I know that she wants me to improve out of love, but I can help but think some times that she is running my life, and I have no control over anything. I uprooted myself from the only home I knew for eighteen years and moved to a new state just to stay with her. I have a friend who is on probation for minor pot/DWI offenses and is considering moving to Spain or Mexico?

He is of Spanish and Mexican decent but born in the US, the offenses are Class B misdemeanors, he figures financially it would just be easier than to deal with probation, the money involved, and the legal system here in the US. I know that there is no conviction on his record as of yet. I think at this point he's spent over $20K in fines, bail, probation fees, lawyers, etc. We all know that probation is only about money. And I know that he can qualify for a ancestry visa in Spain and Mexico. If he renounced his US citizenship, could / would the US pursue him on a Class B misdemeanor? I don't see how the US could pursue someone that is not a US citizen anymore. But then again I don't know how international law works either. What's the community's take on this? I need real answers and not a berating on "How bad it is to run", or "You did crime now do the time." I'm working pt time through college and there is one woman whose in her 50's or so who never does anything. Have a 59 cadillac 6.4l 390 I have disassembled the starter in an attempt to repair it, I bought a new solenoid from rock auto and did some part exchanging from an identical starter that my father in law had, my problem now is when i go to assemble it the cap on the top will not seat flush with the motor housing and i'm not sure what the problem is and i have tried to find a new starter or re manufactured just to avoid the hassle but I've called napa, oreilly, advance, auto zone, looked online and no one seems to have a starter for it. So any help would be appreciated. And any further insite on what things to look at before assembly and reinstallation into the vehicle. THANKS

Catching a stray/feral cat?

In my friends neighborhood, there are literally hundred of cats. She lives in a townhouse area, and the cats love to go into the crawl spaces, they live there. The cats will bathe in the sun on peoples porches during the day, and they are always really scared when approached. Except one cat, which is really more of a kitten, that just kinda walks away, he/she doesn't sprint away like the others. This cat, which I have personally named Henry, is skinny. What's odd about it is that the cats will sit on one persons porch, then when they get scared, they run around the edge of the building (the house that they lay on is the second to last house in the row of townhouses, so it isn't far) and into one of the back porch type areas. Every home has one, they are about jail cell sized and fenced in. The cats will run into the last house's (the last house in the row of houses, the neighbor to the house that the cats sit on) back porch type thing. If you look in the house that they ran to's back porch, you see a wide open crawl space. Anyway, they live there. There is about 3-4 cats that I have seen that live there. One, is, of course, Henry. He seems really nice, and you can tell that he most likely is a stray and not just a feral cat. For the last two days I've been chilling on the other side of the fence, waiting for a chance to catch him. Today I brought him some food, and stuck it threw the gate. The gate is locked, I have tried to open it...It doesn't budge. He'll just sit there and intently listen to my voice as I talk to him. Though he is still a little skeptical of me, you can tell, he is still better with me than I would imagine with anyone else. I want to catch him, for the fact that he in so skinny, and that he deserves a better life than to live in the wild. I read somewhere that wild cats only live for a maximum of 4 years. He will sit on the other side of the gate, in arms reach, you know, if the fence wasn't there. Today I nearly got him to eat out of my hand, before I just gave up and gave him the food threw the gate. I know that once my family, or Megans family, (my friend that lives in the townhouses) sees the cat, they'll immediately decide to keep it. They would never have the heart to just tell us to send it back to the wild. I understand that the cat could be dangerous, and I don't care. I'm positive that when we get the money, and I'm talking about if we were to keep the cat, we'll take him/her to the vet and try to get it's vaccines and get the kitty all set up. So my question really is how should I go about catching it without it hating or being frightened of me forever. I know that some of you might think that it is a bad idea, but I know what "animal control" does when it gets strays. I will simply not stand for it. Im Irish living in England and i went through a similar situation in my job by a fellow employee...every day entertaining his chums with his anti Irish humour. Put up with it for two years. Then i got hate emails from him, so when i had proof i made a formal complaint. Then went off sick til it was dealt with. Was off for three months and they eventually sacked him. Basically get her to get some hard evidence. Make the complaint. Then go to the doctors and get a sick note and stay off until the work environment has been changed to suit her. She'll find that Will put everyone in order. Plus she can't be sacked as its an illness caused by unprofessional colleagues. Plus they have to pay her sick pay cos its not her fault. But she has to get evidence. P.s make sure she finds out her companies policies on such matters. Hope this helps.

What is this baby bird?

I found a baby bird, almost featherless, and I am not sure if its a house sparrow, or a other sparrow, or maybe a finch.... Anyways, its health is fine, it wont shut up while we feed it! My father got remarried after my mother passed away and for a while i figured it would just be an adjustment that i'd just have to get used to. Does the cute kid contest (which is a scam) have fake people posting positive reviews online about them?

So I was looking up the cute kid contest to see if i was a scam,( my mother in law wants me to submit pics of our little cutie) and it look like it is definitely a scam, but I noticed among the million or so negative reviews about how it was a rip off many many many people talking about how great it was. All of the positive reviews looked like they were written by an advertiser so my question really is, just how scammy is the cute kid contest site? are they so scammy that they write fake positive reviews of them selves to hide the fact that they are a in fact a scam? Since the world wide web is like the wild wild west in regards to enforcing law there really is no recourse for people who have been mislead by these fake positive reviews right? What do you think? and if you really did have a positive experience with this site and I'm totally wrong please tell me and tell me in a way that doesn't sound like a robo-marketer.

What to do about a hurt baby rabbit?

I live out in the country and my cat attacked a baby rabbit. He tore tuffs of his fur and skin off his back, but I'm pretty sure no other damage has been done. He doesn't have any vital organ injuries. But the problem is, now that he has been touch by something/someone other than his mother, we cannot let him back into the wild. So now, I think he is in shock, and I don't know the first thing about rabbits. His eyes are open and he's about four to five inches long. Is there anything specific I need to do first. He won't drink any water, and I'm not sure if he eats solid food yet. Help please????

I'd say between a four and a six. You may have additional things such as AC lines going into it, as well as transmission lines. If you are comfortable working on cars, its not a horrible job. The best advice I can give is to go to a garage and ask them to empty your AC lines so you don't release puron into the atmosphere. Also, and I'm not trying to be kinky with this, pick up some unlubricated condoms and some zip ties. Put these on the lines going to and from the transmission to minimize fluid leak from your tranny, and to keep from having a bigger red sticky mess to go along with your green sticky mess. Due to the fact that you may have fluid loss with the transmission, don't forget to check the fluid level to prevent from having slippage the first time you take the car out for a spin after you get it fixed.

I would put on gloves or something and put the next into a box. When my rabbit unexpectedly started making a nest, that's what I did and she didn't care. I actually made a lot of her nest for her and she just made a few "adjustments." I would move the nest into a box, and have the box be big enough for the mom to go into it to feed her babies. I would not have your rabbit outside until her babies are born. If she has them ousted the father will DEFINITELY come and eat them. So if you don't have a cage for her, just put the shoe box into a bigger box that she has enough room to move a little in and that she cant get out of. After that, just give her some peace. (also, if her nest isn't totally finished just give her a pillow again or some hay)

Where's the best place for a student to stay in Wildwood NJ?

A group of three friends and I are planning a trip to Wildwood in August and I'm looking for a hotel. Most of the ones I've found are geared towards families and won't even accept reservations from people under 21 or 25 (my friends and I are 18-19). Most of them also have pretty strict policies and some have quiet hours. Is there any place more young people/ nightlife oriented? We're not planning on going wild or trashing the room, but we will be going out and coming home late, and I would hate for us to bother other hotel guests or have an issue with the management. Anti-Religious Folk: Why hate God due to those who claim to do things in His name?

I notice a lot more animosity against people who believe in God (particularly against Christians). And God had always taught the right way to go and punished evil. Now, the main problem most people have is if God is so great, why is His people so rotten? Hasn't the question ever arisen in one's mind that possibly this is not a Christian? What does the bible say about this? To be a Christian means to follow after Christ and read His Word. His Word don't condone the bombings of abortion clinics or murders. It don't tell us to take the law in our own hands but to abide by the law. Now I understand people do crazy things saying God told them too... but perhaps it wasn't God who told them at all. Perhaps that's their ambition masquerading behind the mask of Christianity. Maybe it was Satan? Perhaps they are insane? I don't know, but there are other alternatives other than blaming Christ. I take the time to understand other beliefs in order to better understand them and they feel more at ease, knowing I am not trying to bash or berate them for their beliefs. Putting all of us in the same catergory is wrong.

What is a good guitar pickup for heavy rock?

I want a relatively high gain guitar pickup to install into a dean cadillac in the bridge pickup. I have no bias as far as company, but I need a pickup that sounds raw and thick. I've been looking into the dimebucker, but I don't think the bottom end is quite thick enough. I am not going to put an active in, so don't suggest that. What I am thinking of doing is put a prail in the neck, and maybe a gibson burstbucker in the bridge, but is this going to be thick enough to play metal? It may be tough at first but atleast you have closure when it comes down to it. It is a much better alternative than staying in a shattered relationship and facing the agony of seeing that person everyday. Especially when you have kids. You are doing them a disservice by constantly berating each other infront of them. Over time making them resent you and possibly forming unhealthy relationships of their own due to constant exposure.

My separated parents never argued over petty stuff like this. They did what they had to to keep things normal for me. My mom signed me up for gymnastics- the class was on my weekday evening court ordered visit with dad- he had no issues taking me, or attending all of the meets whether it was his scheduled time with me or not.

Yeah he has been great this season. He also has 120 hits ALREADY!! That is insane, if he continues this pace he could have 240 by season's end. Our starting pitching is actually pretty good though, Gee, Niese, Dickey and Capuano have been good. Pelfrey has been very up and down (pretty much good at home, terrible on the road). It's our bullpen that's the real killer.
